New tournament setup

Answer a few questions and the app builds your tables, round codes, and Round 1 seating automatically. Everything stays editable in the manual sections below.

Tournament configuration

Set the backend once, then configure rounds, scoring rules, and table assignments. Publishing overwrites the live sheet for every player's phone.

Rounds

Number of rounds for this event (each round is 4 games).

Scoring rule bank

Build this tournament's scoring rubric. Enable the rules you want, set point values (positive = credit, negative = demerit), rename anything, add your own, or remove rules entirely. Only enabled rules appear on East's entry screen.

Table check-in

Choose how players open the scorer at their table. Both methods use the same link — it fills in the table number automatically, and East types the round code from the tent card. Use one method or both.

Write each URL to its table's NFC tag with a free phone app such as NFC Tools (add a URL record). NTAG213 tags work well — one tag per table, stuck to the tent card or lamp base.

Tables, levels & round codes

One line per table: TableNumber,Category,Level. Category is Social or Competitive (or your own labels). Level can follow either scheme below — tables at the same level (within a category) rotate players among each other. Round codes are auto-generated per table per round.

Table rotation

Paste Round 1 assignments below (in the Round Assignments section), then generate the remaining rounds with a standard progressive movement: East anchors the table for the whole event; South, West, and North rotate to new tables each round, so opponents change. Movement can be negative — e.g. -1 moves that seat downward one table, which is standard in many tournaments.

Seating conflicts

One pair per line: Player A, Player B. Those two will never be seated at the same table in any round — useful when personalities clash. Runs automatically after you generate rotation, or on demand for pasted assignments.

Round assignments 0 loaded

One line per table per round: Round,TableNumber,East,South,West,North. Paste your Round 1 seating here (from registration), then use "Generate remaining rounds" above to fill in the rest automatically — or paste every round by hand if you're not using the standard rotation.

Publish

Publishing overwrites Settings, Tables, and Assignments on the live sheet. It uses the host PIN from unlock — keep that PIN private.
